Solid Choice for a City Break

The room was modern and clean. I also found a minibar with products available at the 24/7 reception. I got a few complimentary sweets in the room. The location was convenient for walking to attractions. The breakfast had a great selection. I enjoyed the friendly staff. They provided helpful service . The hotel offered a good sense of safety. I felt secure returning later at night. This was especially comforting after theatre trips.
My room had a very small and tall sink, uncomfortable to wash in.

cramped roomconstant noise
The room felt really cramped. I struggled to move around with my luggage. there was a constant noise in the inner courtyard. It came from air conditioning units in the adjacent building. The noise really bothered me during the night. It stopped me from sleeping well, even with the window closed.

the staff was helpful upon arrival.
the window handle was defective, preventing a proper closure. this resulted in exterior noise intrusion during my entire stay.. i contacted reception regarding this issue, but i received no response.

The room was really clean. I found a desk, lots of light. tea and a kettle. The shower is large and convenient. Breakfast was nice and the staff was friendly and helpful.
The sink was small and very tall, so it was uncomfortable to wash my face.

the room had modern bathroom fixtures. hot water arrived so quickly when i open the tap. the shower had both traditional and rain shower heads, i loved that.
the room i stayed in had no lift.
